Our Ethics Policy

Check What’s Best maintains a strict ethics policy for all of our contributors. Since our goal is to write unbiased reviews and articles that contain honest, accurate information regarding the pros and cons of a particular product, we employ this policy to protect the independence, credibility, and editorial integrity of our site.

Our core principle is to be objective and base our reviews only on the merits of a particular product. That is why all of our contributors must follow our ethics policy, which dictates refusing all monetary compensation and non-cash incentives from companies who are either looking to have their product reviewed or that we currently review.

Check What’s Best contributors may receive a product for review purposes from a manufacturer over a short term loan period that is returned to the manufacturer once the review is complete. Some products can not be returned after testing, in this case, the product will be recycled or donated. If we have purchased the product ourselves, the contributor may keep it or resell it. Our contributors have complete freedom to express exactly what they think of a product.
